The SEMA Businesswomen’s Network Women’s Leadership Forum Is Part Of A Movement
The SEMA Businesswomen’s Network (SBN) Women’s Leadership Forum (WLF) isn’t just an event – it’s a movement. It’s a space where women in the automotive industry come together to learn, grow, and empower one another. After hearing so many inspiring stories about this event and the impact it has, I am beyond excited to attend this year!
An Event For All Women In The Automotive Industry
WLF brings together women from every corner of the industry – aftermarket, performance, manufacturing, EV, classic cars, fabrication, off-road, retail, repair, content creation, education, events, and more – to share experiences, build connections, and elevate each other’s success. As Sara Morosan, President of LGE-CTS Motorsports & SBN Chair, puts it:
“The Women’s Leadership Forum has become one of my favorite events outside of the SEMA Show. It provides a space for women in our industry to grow, connect, and support one another. The power of coming together – sharing our passions, overcoming challenges, and celebrating victories – is truly inspiring.”
– Sara Morosan
A Transformative Experience

One of the most powerful aspects of WLF is how it pushes women out of their comfort zones and into new opportunities. Many attendees have shared how this event helped them grow both professionally and personally. Tricia Emurian of Yamaha Motor Corp., who has attended multiple years, said:
“This was my 2nd year attending and I was able to make even more connections this year. It has impacted me professionally and personally by stepping out of my comfort zone.”
– Tricia Emurian
Stepping into a room full of motivated, high-achieving women can feel intimidating at first. Annette Bauer, Professional Photographer and SBN Select Committee Member, shared her initial thoughts when attending WLF for the first time:
“It’s easy to feel a bit of imposter syndrome when you’re in a room with 100 women, all of whom seem to be doing important and impactful work. But as I stepped out of my comfort zone, I was beyond pleased to discover that I wasn’t alone in these feelings – and that every woman there was welcoming, supportive, and genuine.”
– Annette Bauer
This is what makes WLF truly special – it’s a place where women are heard, supported, and inspired to reach new heights.
What To Expect At WLF

The Women’s Leadership Forum is designed to help women develop leadership skills, build confidence, and grow their influence in the automotive industry. Some of the highlights include:

Past attendees frequently mention how motivational and empowering the experience is. As Kira Daczko of Universal Technical Institute shared:
“All of the speakers and topics helped bring self-awareness and a reinvigorated focus on personal motivation to be better… it was a space to share and gain empowerment with other women.”
– Kira Daczko
Why You Should Attend
If you’re wondering whether WLF is right for you, let me say this: This is the event that could change everything. It’s not just about gaining new skills – it’s about finding a community of women who will inspire and support you every step of the way. As Sara Morosan so perfectly said:
“I encourage every woman in the industry to make this a must-attend event.”
– Sara Morosan
I know that I will leave WLF with new perspectives, valuable insights, and a network of incredible women cheering me on. If you’re considering attending, take the leap – you won’t regret it. Let’s make this an event to remember – see you there!
