Spork Marketing is a small, family-owned marketing company owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Jason and Sara Lancaster. Founded in 2007, Jason and Sara both have a strong background in sales and marketing and extensive web experience.
In addition to Jason and Sara, Spork works with a small group of expert professionals in areas like graphic design, public relations, video capture and editing, and content creation. Our team approach helps us provide a high-quality service while keeping costs low and improving turn-around times.
Jason is an SEO and PPC expert who has been published numerous times in national trade publications (see a complete list at the bottom of this page) as well as well-known search engine industry blogs like SearchEngineJournal.com, DailySEOTip.com, and is recognized as an SEO expert on Quora.
Jason is also the editor of a few blogs including TundraHeadquarters.com, a Toyota Tundra enthusiast community with a steadily growing blog that yields upwards of 100,000 visitors monthly.
Prior to launching Spork Marketing, Jason worked for nearly a decade in the glamorous automotive retail industry. A graduate from the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado with a degree in engineering and a penchant for technical proficiency, Jason is the perfect mix of marketing, sales, and technical skill. Jason is an avid basketball fan (although not a very good player), an occasional mountain biker, and an admitted work-a-holic.

Soo Dawson is the Project Manager at Spork Marketing. Soo comes with a strong interactive marketing and project management background. Prior to joining Spork, she worked for an eclectic array of large and small corporations in multiple industries. Her special strengths include website content management and expertise on various CMS platforms, direct response marketing, and link building.
Soo plays an integral part in the day-to-day operations at Spork – she works with a team of talented bloggers, video producers, and other link building professionals to create quality content for placement. In addition, she researches and secures link placement opportunities to enhance clients’ online presence and highlight promotions. Since joining Spork, she has spearheaded research on two Infographic projects – one of which was featured on BusinessInsider.com. Soo relishes the fact that she can be researching data one moment and managing vibrant social media profiles for clients in the next. As a certified Google Adwords professional, Soo works to create PPC advertising strategies for clients and execute effective campaigns.
When she is not working, Soo enjoys playing classical piano and chasing her rambunctious daughter and naughty Shiba-inu around town. Soo also admits she listens to Gangnam Style – and is an avid fan of wacky innovation.
